Facebook Data Deletion Instructions

If you have signed up or logged in to WreckMarket using your Facebook account, you can request deletion of your data associated with Facebook at any time.

WreckMarket only receives and stores the information that Facebook shares with us during login (such as your name, email address and Facebook ID), plus any information you provide directly in your WreckMarket account and listings. When you request deletion, we will remove or anonymise this data from our systems, except where we are required to keep certain records for legal or regulatory reasons.reintech+1

1. Delete WreckMarket access from your Facebook account

To remove WreckMarket’s access to your Facebook data:

1. Log in to your Facebook account.
2. Click your profile picture (top right) and select Settings & privacy, then Settings.
3. In the left menu, go to Apps and websites.
4. Find WreckMarket in the list of active apps and websites.
5. Select the checkbox next to WreckMarket and click Remove.
6. Confirm removal when prompted. This revokes WreckMarket’s future access to your Facebook account data.alfieandclaire+1

2. Request deletion of your WreckMarket account and data

After removing the app from Facebook, you can request deletion of any data WreckMarket has stored about you:

Option A – From your WreckMarket account

1. Log in to your WreckMarket account (if still accessible).
2. Go to My Account → Account settings.
3. Use the Delete account or Close account option (if available), or follow the instructions on that page to request deletion.

Option B – By contacting us

If you cannot access your account, or want to confirm deletion:

1. Send an email to privacy@wreckmarket.com from the email address linked to your WreckMarket account.
2. Use the subject line: “Facebook Data Deletion Request”.
3. In the message, include:
   • Your full name
   • The email address linked to your WreckMarket account
   • (Optional) Any relevant details to help us identify your account

We will process your request and delete or anonymise your personal data associated with Facebook login within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain certain records (for example, for taxation or fraud‑prevention purposes).vskills+1

3. Confirmation of deletion

Once your data has been deleted or anonymised, we will send a confirmation email to the address associated with your WreckMarket account. If you do not receive confirmation within 30 days, please contact us again at privacy@wreckmarket.com.
