Welcome to WreckMarket (“we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the WreckMarket website, services, and applications (collectively, the “Platform”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Platform.
1. About WreckMarket
WreckMarket is an online marketplace that connects buyers and sellers of wrecked, salvage, and damaged vehicles and automotive parts (“Listings”). We do not own, inspect, or take possession of any vehicles or parts listed on the Platform. We are not a party to any transaction between buyers and sellers.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age and capable of entering into legally binding contracts to use the Platform. By using WreckMarket, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements. If you are using the Platform on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.
3. Account Registration
3.1. To access certain features, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.
3.2. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
3.3. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for any reason, including if we suspect you have violated these Terms.
4. For Sellers (Vendors)
4.1. Listing Requirements
When creating a Listing, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information about the vehicle or parts, including make, model, year, damage category, and condition
- Upload clear, current photos that accurately represent the condition of the item
- Disclose the Written-Off Vehicle Register (WOVR) status if applicable
- Specify whether the item is being sold for parts, repair, or scrap
- Not list stolen vehicles or parts
- Comply with all applicable laws, including motor vehicle dealer licensing requirements in your state/territory
4.2. Prohibited Listings
You may not list:
- Vehicles without proper title or registration documentation (where required by law)
- Stolen property or vehicles with altered VINs
- Items that are not automotive-related
- Counterfeit or fake parts
- Vehicles with undisclosed finance owing (unless disclosed)
4.3. Transactions Between Buyers and Sellers
WreckMarket is a marketplace only. All transactions are directly between buyers and sellers. We do not:
- Guarantee payment from buyers
- Hold funds in escrow
- Guarantee the condition, quality, or roadworthiness of any vehicle or part
- Arrange transport, shipping, or delivery
- Provide insurance
4.4. Seller Fees
Listing on WreckMarket is currently free. We reserve the right to introduce fees in the future with 30 days’ notice. Featured or promoted listings may incur fees as displayed at the time of purchase.
5. For Buyers
5.1. Vehicle Inspection

You acknowledge and agree that:
- You are responsible for thoroughly inspecting any vehicle or part before purchase
- You accept all risks regarding the condition, quality, and safety of any item purchased
- WreckMarket does not inspect or verify the condition of listed items
- Photos and descriptions are provided by sellers and may not show all damage or defects
5.2. “As Is” Disclaimer
ALL VEHICLES AND PARTS LISTED ON WRECKMARKET ARE SOLD STRICTLY ON AN “AS IS,” “WHERE IS” BASIS WITH NO WARRANTIES WHATSOEVER.buysalvagecars+1
WRECKMARKET AND SELLERS EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
5.3. Roadworthiness and Compliance
You acknowledge that:
- Vehicles listed as statutory write-offs or repairable write-offs may not be legally registrable or roadworthy in your state/territory
- You are solely responsible for ensuring any purchased vehicle complies with all applicable road traffic laws, safety standards, and registration requirements before use on public roads
- Driving an unroadworthy vehicle is at your own risk and may be illegal[buysalvagecars.co]β
5.4. Collection and Transport
You are responsible for collecting or arranging transport of purchased items. We recommend using a licensed towing or transport service. Driving a damaged vehicle from the seller’s premises is at your sole risk.[buysalvagecars.co]β
6. Payments and Transactions
6.1. Direct Transactions
WreckMarket does not process payments between buyers and sellers unless explicitly stated. Buyers and sellers arrange payment methods independently (cash, bank transfer, PayPal, etc.). Use caution and consider secure payment methods.
6.2. No Refunds Through WreckMarket
All sales are final between the buyer and seller. WreckMarket does not provide refunds, returns, or chargeback services. Any disputes must be resolved directly between the buyer and seller.salvagenow+1
7. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform for any illegal purpose
- Harass, threaten, or defraud other users
- Post false, misleading, or deceptive content
- Circumvent or attempt to circumvent our security measures
- Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Platform without our written consent
- Collect personal information of other users without consent
- Post content that infringes intellectual property rights
8. Intellectual Property
The Platform and its content (excluding user-generated content) are owned by WreckMarket and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute Platform content without our written permission.
9. Limitation of Liability

- OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO WRECKMARKET IN THE 12 MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) AUD $100
- WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LOSSES ARISING FROM TRANSACTIONS BETWEEN USERS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO NON-PAYMENT, MISREPRESENTATION, FRAUD, OR DELIVERY ISSUES

10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless WreckMarket, its directors, officers, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with:
- Your access to or use of the Platform
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any rights of another party
- Any transaction or dispute between you and another user[salvagebid]β
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. All provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.[salvagetraders]β
12. Dispute Resolution
12.1. Between Users
Any disputes between buyers and sellers must be resolved directly between the parties. WreckMarket is not responsible for mediating disputes, though we may, at our discretion, provide communication tools to assist resolution.
12.2. With WreckMarket
If you have a dispute with WreckMarket, you agree to first contact us and attempt to resolve the issue informally. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland, Australia.
13. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy conferred by the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) or any other applicable law that cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified by agreement. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for breach of any non-excludable consumer guarantee is limited to (at our option) the resupply of the services or the payment of the cost of having the services supplied again. 14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, without regard to conflict of law principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Queensland.[salvagetraders]β
15. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the updated Terms on the Platform and updating the “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
16. General
- Severability: If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
- No Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
- Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and WreckMarket regarding the Platform.[salvagetraders]β
- Assignment: You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.
